Last year’s results: A master gardener 5-year-old participant took the win witn a 9ft gorgeous sunflower that brought the village and all who walked by so much joy! Congratulations!

What is the contest?
Let’s see who can grow the tallest sunflower, and add joy and beauty to your neighborhood and food for pollinators in the process. This year, you can grow ANY variety of sunflower - you can grow from seed, you can buy a seedling at a garden center, you can use a “volunteer” sunflower (one that popped up in your yard from a seed from last year). The choice is yours! May the best sunflower win!
